**NEW TRIAL KATA CLASSES**

 

 For everyone interested Mat-Su Judo will be starting a Kata class starting the 21st of January from 8pm to 8:30pm. This can continue during the advanced class from 8:30pm to 9pm also. This class will be held every Thursday evenings 8pm to 8:30pm.

51st Alaska State Judo Championships - COMING SOON!!!

Hey all you Mat-Su Judo Judokas.  The 51st Alaska State Judo Championships is almost here.  I hope you all as practicing hard in preperation for this tournament.  Take a look at the Mat-Su Judo homework. This is what you can do to improve your Judo. If you would like more information on improving your Judo ask Me and I can give you a workout schedule.   

Keep practicing and working hard and we can have another year of taking State. The Other Clubs are working hard to take State this year.

30 minutes or more a day of Aerobic activity (running, walking, hiking, skiing, etc)

50+ grip excersises a day (squeezy ball, sponge, grip exerciser)

50+ step-ins a day both right and left (total of 100)

50+ push-ups and 50+ sit-ups

30 minutes of visualazation of throwing your opponant for an Ippon
