Back to Wasilla Middle School!!!!   It is a GO for August 19th at Wasilla Middle School.  So the last practice at Ohana's will be the 17th of August.

Hello Mat-Su Judo.  I would like to get a booster club going to help raise money for the out of state tournamnets.  The next big tournament is in Seattle, the Triple Crown in November.  This is a great tournament to start your national tournaments for next year.  Any volunteers please call me or see me at practice. We will need a President, Secretary, and Treasurer for the Booster Club.  Once we get some volunteers we can have some meetings to brain storm about fund raising.

Remember we would like to put together a team to go to Nationals next year. We will put together some fund raisers to help fund the trip. We may try Seattles Triple Crown for starters to see how it goes.

Mat-Su Judo Homework

 

30 minutes or more a day of Aerobic activity (running, walking, hiking, skiing, etc)

50+ grip excersises a day (squeezy ball, sponge, grip exerciser)

50+ step-ins a day both right and left (total of 100)

50+ push-ups and 50+ sit-ups

30 minutes of visualazation of throwing your opponant for an Ippon
