Mission Statement

MAT-SU JUDO INC. IS HERE IN THE MATANUSKA SUSITNA VALLEY TO PROMOTE THE PRINCIPLES AND TEACHINGS OF THE OLYMPIC SPORT AND KODOKAN JUDO TO ALL LEVELS IN ALL PARTS OF THE PALMER AND WASILLA AREA.

MAT-SU JUDO INC. GOALS ARE:
To promote Judo as a lifelong interest.
To develop our youth with instilling a healthy life style, discipline and self confidents to be pillars of the community through execise and education.
To have an activity/club/family atmosphere available to the Mat-Su Valley youth in lieu of gangs.
To develop recreational opportunities in the Mat-Su Valley.
To develop and train High Performance athletes.
To have qualified facilities and equipment in place for safe and effective practices.
To achieve financial self-sufficiency.
To increase the number of participants in the efficient administration of the sport.
To increase the number of participants in the sport.
To promote greater public awareness of the sport.
To maintain qualified Judo coaches for Mat-Su Judo, Inc.
To raise the technical level of Judo in Mat-Su Judo, Inc.
